RFD-TV Provides New Opportunities to Engage FFA Members

LOUISVILLE – This year, RFD-TV is providing unprecedented live coverage of the 87th National FFA Convention & Expo. “We’ve been involved [with the convention] for 25 years and have broadcast the event for the last 14 years,” said RFD-TV President Patrick Gottsch.

The benefits of the recently-announced long-term agreement between FFA and RFD-TV are already showing as the network brings unprecedented live coverage of the 87th National FFA Convention & Expo.
Not only will 30 hours of live, gavel-to-gavel coverage be shown on RFD-TV (and simulcast via FamilyNet, SiriusXM RURAL RADIO Channel 80 and FFA.org/broadcast), but the network has grown its footprint at the convention. RFD-TV helps tell FFA story in new $5 million, five-year sponsorship
Telling the FFA story to a larger audience just got a little easier thanks to a new agreement between RFD-TV, the National FFA Organization and the National FFA Foundation.
RFD-TV has committed to a five-year sponsorship with FFA that provides cash and in-kind support valued at $5 million over five years. The agreement puts RFD-TV at the highest level of corporate support within the National FFA Foundation.
It’s just one of many ways the company has supported FFA during their 25-year relationship, providing opportunities to members and helping grow FFA and agricultural education. Continue reading
Rural Radio Presents FFA Today to SiriusXM Listeners Nationwide

Rural Radio is the first 24/7 international radio channel devoted to serving rural interests. Patrick Gottsch, founder and president of RFD TV, announced Wednesday at the 86th National FFA Convention & Expo that Rural Radio will soon be launching a new show, FFA Today.
“The folks have been terrific launching Rural Radio since July of this year. We’re finding about 25 percent of all FFA members listen to SiriusXM and we want to come back to convention next year with over 50 percent,” Gottsch said. Continue reading
