10. The FFA Dance, World’s Toughest Rodeo and Concerts

From Justin Moore and Scotty McCreery, to bareback, saddle bronc and bull riders, the entertainment possibilities are limitless for convention and expo participants.

9. The Opening Session (1A, 1B, 1C) Light Show

Speaking of entertainment– optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation, oh my! Since 2009, the convention and expo has been kicked off with a professionally produced laser show.

8. Experiencing the City of Louisville

The city of Louisville, Kentucky has so much to offer! From the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory to the Kentucky Derby, every FFA member will find their favorite new place to visit.

7. Serving as a National Convention Delegate

At 610,240 members, FFA is one of the largest student-run organization in the country! National delegates are selected by state associations from these leaders to vote on national FFA decisions, as well as for the new team of national officers.

6. The FFA Shopping Mall

Customize yourself at the FFA Shopping Mall – jewelry, belts, cowboy hats, T-shirts, et al! A wide variety of merchandise, tied in with a few great deals, means that the world’s largest physical FFA store has something for everyone.

5. The Expo

The National FFA Expo allows FFA members to explore career and educational opportunities from more than 450 industry-leading exhibitors (our largest expo ever!)

4. General Sessions

The General Sessions, or main stage activities, include reflections by the National FFA Officers and keynote speakers on overcoming adversity and becoming a leader in your community.

3. National FFA Band and Chorus

We can’t forget that besides helping out their communities, FFA members can carry a pretty sweet tune! The National Band and Chorus have been working since long before the convention started to perfect their music, and put on an outstanding show for their audience.

2. Meeting FFA Members from Across the Nation

A sea of blue jackets awaits FFA members as they meet new friends from across their nation, and collect 52 signatures in the official Guidebook.

Surveyed to perhaps be the best part of convention — the inspiration to “Go All Out!” in members’ personal achievement and career success! The national convention and expo brings FFA members together to learn, be inspired, and celebrate their accomplishments in the organization.
